AJC06 turns 30

Since it was founded on 24 April 1996, the association has brought together PhD candidates in the Alpes-Maritimes: generations of young researchers who meet, support each other and stand up for their working conditions.

What we do

Our missions

  1. Bringing PhD life to life

    Meet-ups, hikes, nights out, summer and winter camps, the Fête de la science: plenty of ways to meet PhD candidates from every discipline.

  2. Spreading the word

    Calls for applications, thesis awards, training, webinars: we share what matters on the WhatsApp community, Instagram and this website.

  3. Preparing life after the PhD

    Career workshops (industry, entrepreneurship, academia) and membership of the BioTechno network.

  4. Representing young researchers

    Dialogue with Université Côte d'Azur and the unions, local and national advocacy for better working conditions.
