General Assembly 2026

AJC06 is pleased to invite all Université Côte d’Azur PhD candidates to its Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assemblies, to be held on Wednesday 28 January 2026 at 6 pm.

All PhD candidates of Université Côte d’Azur are welcome, whatever their doctoral school, discipline or year. They have the right to vote and can stand for election at the General Assemblies.

If you can’t make it, you can give a proxy.

• Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) The evening will start with an Extraordinary General Assembly dedicated to the presentation of, and vote on, the association’s new statutes. The proposed statutes are attached to the invitation email so you can read them beforehand. Every PhD candidate present can take part in the vote.
• Ordinary General Assembly (OGA) The EGA will be followed by the annual Ordinary General Assembly.

Why take part? General Assemblies are key moments in the life of AJC06. They allow all Université Côte d’Azur PhD candidates to: – take part in the association’s major decisions; – review what was done in 2025; – discuss together the projects and outlook for 2026; – stand for election to the new board; – play an active part in representing PhD candidates locally.

OGA agenda: 1. Moral report and review of 2025 activities 2. 2025 financial report 3. Projects and outlook for 2026 4. Election of the board 5. Any other business

A friendly moment awaits you! The General Assemblies will be followed by drinks, to encourage informal conversations between PhD candidates of every discipline.

Your participation matters: the more of us there are, the louder the voice of Université Côte d’Azur PhD candidates. We’re counting on you to make this meeting rich, democratic and collective.
