 s you to discover Èze\, a charming little village perched on the heights 
 of the Côte d'Azur\, for a magnificent morning\; a superb view of the Med
 iterranean awaits you from this pretty village. 9:30 am Meet at the Vauban
  bus station (PLEASE NOTE: the bus leaves at 9:45 am\, so please be on tim
 e) 10:15 am We will start by visiting the village and the exotic garden 11
  am We follow in the footsteps of the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsc
 he… He stayed on the Côte d'Azur several times from 1883 and needed to 
 walk to create: the third part of Thus Spoke Zarathustra was composed on t
 his steep route. We will then go down the Nietzsche path for a short hike 
 to Èze-sur-Mer (about 1 hour). 12:15 pm Èze beach: picnic\, and a swim f
 or those who want one. You can head back whenever suits you. Departure: Va
 uban bus station (2 minutes from the Vauban tram stop) – €1.70 for a b
 us ticket if you don't have a Lignes d'Azur pass. PS: Don't forget your pi

 r an exceptional site near Grasse\, whose natural and scientific heritage 
 will amaze you. On this guided tour\, learn more about the scientific life
  of the plateau\, past and present. A little history: since the 1970s\, th
 e Calern plateau has hosted instruments that pioneered their fields\, nota
 bly in laser ranging and interferometry. The Schmidt telescope – the lar
 gest in Europe in its class – was in intense use until the early 2000s f
 or wide-field imaging of small objects. Since 1988\, the Calern plateau ha
 s been an observing site of the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur. Come and 
 see Antti Lovag's Bubble Houses and how they work as instrument shelters\,
  walk across a moon-like plateau and discover the science being done today

  meet in the charming little perched village of Castellar\, above Menton. 
 We will then hike through picturesque landscapes of particular beauty\, pa

 m where you can see the whole Côte d'Azur coastline and\, on a clear day\

 composer Charles Lecocq wrote in La Fille de Madame Angot a virtuoso score
  full of joy and mischief. Much more than light entertainment\, it is an o
 de to hope and renewal. A huge box-office hit in the late 19th century\, L
 a Fille de Madame Angot is rarely performed today. Won over by the irresis
 tible energy of the score\, Richard Brunel brings Clairette Angot and her
