AJC06 invites you to a hike in the hills behind Menton. We will meet in the charming little perched village of Castellar, above Menton. We will then hike through picturesque landscapes of particular beauty, past pastures and old alpine fortifications, up to the Italian border, from where you can see the whole Côte d’Azur coastline and, on a clear day, Corsica. This route is recommended for advanced hikers.

Programme: the hike lasts 6 hours. Meeting in the village of Castellar at 11 am and picnic at the summit.
Bring good shoes, something to eat and a bottle of water.
Without a car: meet at the Menton bus station at 10:20 am to take line 6 Menton – Castellar.
Access: the village can be reached by bus from the Menton bus station.
