The 2024 campaign for the submission of applications for the CPED Thesis Award is now open.
The deadline for submission of applications is: October 31, 2024.
General Conditions
Created in 2024 on the initiative of the CPED to support research on gender, equality, and diversity, this award recognizes work focused on gender equality and the fight against discrimination (diversity in fields of study, sexual violence, gender stereotypes, the fight against racism and anti-Semitism, women’s health, inclusive communication, etc.).
All legal, humanities, social and political sciences (economics, geography, history, sociology, anthropology, etc.) or science and technology disciplines are eligible. Published or unpublished, the work must be written in French and completed after January 1, 2023. The author of the thesis must be enrolled in a doctoral school at a CPED member institution. Only manuscripts that represent one of the author’s first research works or publications are considered for the award.
The Award
The prize is set at €1,500. It is awarded by a jury composed of equality-diversity representatives or vice presidents, representing CPED member institutions. The prize recipient will be invited to present their work at the next CPED meetings.
Application Files
The application file must include the following documents:
- The fully completed and signed application form;
- An electronic version of the thesis;
- The signed defense report;
- A summary of the thesis;
- A CV with a list of publications.
Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
